Jesus is my Lord and Savior. I am Pro-Life, a United States Navy Vietnam Era Veteran, and believe in preserving and abiding by the U.S. Constitution. Prayer should be brought back into the public school system. The Plegde of Alligenance should be brought back into the public school system. All school children should be taught to stand for the American Flag and kneel for the Cross of Christ.
My Service to This United States of America began in 1974 when I joined the United States Navy. After U.S. Navy schooling I was assigned to the USS John F Kennedy (CV-67) Aircraft Carrier. I served on board for four years and three months. During my service on board the USS JFK, I made three Mediterranean Cruises and one NATO Cruise and was promoted to supervisor of the EDS Division a year before the end of my enlistment. My Rate and Rank was Data Systems Technician Second Class Petty Officer. I was Honorably Discharged at the end of my six year enlistment.
I believe in God The Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit. Jesus is my and my familiy's Lord and Savior. I would not be here today if it were not for Jesus' Love, Healing, Power, Mercy, and Grace in my and my familiy's lives.
Since my honorable discharge from the United States Navy, I have always desired to SERVE my Country again. I have served as treasurer, secretary, and president/chairperson of a Republican District in Shelby County (Memphis), and as treasurer and secretary in the Tipton County Republican Party.
I am running as a Republican Candidate for the United States Congress, District 8, to SERVE the citizens of Tennessee and America. I see many things that need to be corrected in Washington in regards to career politicians and non-service to American Citizens.
My platform has 25 items/issues that I am very serious in developing new legislation to better serve West Tennesseans, all Tennesseanns, and all American Citizens your next United States Congressman from District 8. My Platform is public and a part of my website, so all Tennesseans and American Citizens can read and decide which Republican Candidate is the best choice to SERVE Tennesseans.

And more. Term Limits I believe are imperative to have more elected officials SERVE all citizens, as oulined below.
My desire is to SERVE All Tennesseans and American Citizens, and not myself.
I will end with just a tidbit of additional information about myself. First and foremost, I am an American Citizen. Therefore I relate to each of you. Your struggles, your jobs, your good and your bad. Your children, your parenthood. Making ends meet the best way you can. I've been there and am still there. I want to, if at all possible, and withs God's Help, encourage and help, by SERVING each of you. The best way I know how to do that is by being your next United States Congressman representing all Citizens of District 8, Ternnessee, and The United States, of which my family and I have lived all our lives.
I am a cancer survivor, musician, singer, song-writer, golfer, and retired of forty four years in Information Technology, and affiliated with a county fire department.
The only thing I ask from each of you is your prayerful consideration to vote for me in both the Primary and General Election in 2022.
If elected as your next United States Congressman from Tennessee District 8, I will ALWAYS be available for ALL Citizens, ALL the time. Each of you aare the reason I am a candidate and I have one main priority and that is to, SERVE each of you.

I do not think there is another candidate to match my compassion, my passion, and my willingness to SERVE each of you Tennesseeans and United States Citizens.

Emerson identifies Term Limits a key issue in United States Congress Race.
1. Term Limits:
a. Eliminate Career Politicians.
b. U.S. Senate, no more than Two Terms or 12 years.
c. U.S. Congress, no more than Four Terms or 8 years.
d. Term Limits from Federal to Local Government Elected Offices.
e. Term Limits will bring serious people who desire to SERVE American Citizens the best they can and get as much positive service accomplished as is possible within their respective term limit that will benefit the majority of the U.S. Citizens.
f. No more political families, rich and wealthy families or families who are favored by both previous stated will have any advantage to existing and maintaining the status as a Career Politician.
g. No more ‘Good Ole Boys Network’, according to the TERM LIMITS policy.
h. New policies, processes and procedures for Federal to Local Government elected offices. This will ensure that it will be fair for ALL Citizens and increase Service to ALL American Citizens.
